Boise State University is taking part in Global Entrepreneurship Week with a series of seminars for students and the business community this week, with the first – focused on young entrepreneurs – kicking off today from 3:15 to 4:30 p.m.

Developed by the College of Business and Economics, the Idaho Small Business Development Center and the Entrepreneurship Center, the seminars will run from Nov. 18 to 20.

The Nov. 19 seminar will feature the experiences of Hispanic entrepreneurs, and the Nov. 20 seminar will play host to angel investors as they provide a picture of equity investing amid the banking crisis.

Global Entrepreneurship Week is being observed by dozens of countries around the world from Nov. 17 through Nov. 21. The initiative is intended to “inspire young people to embrace innovation, imagination and creativity to turn their ideas into reality,” according to a release from Boise State.

All sessions of the Boise State program are free, but seating is limited to the first 40 people to register at www.idahosbdc.org.
