The Idaho Hispanic Chamber of Commerce has been named among the top Hispanic chambers in the country by the U.S. Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.  The Idaho chamber won its honors in the “Small Chamber” category.

“The Idaho Hispanic Chamber of Commerce is very proud of the national recognition it has received,” said Lucio Prado, chairman, Idaho Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.  “The award reflects the growing importance of Hispanic owned and operated businesses throughout Idaho. We could not have achieved this honor without our [them].”

The national chamber presents these awards to chambers, businessmen and women, as well as corporate and government advocates, who have contributed to leadership in business.

The winners were selected from several dozen nominations submitted by local and statewide Hispanic chambers of commerce from across the country. The selection panel included a wide variety of professionals with expertise in entrepreneurship and chamber management, as well as representatives from Fortune 500 companies and national non-profit organizations.
