Eagle Silicon, 3605 Arthur St., Caldwell, recently applied with the Idaho Department of Environmental Quality for an air-quality permit to construct.

The permit will regulate emissions from the company’s silicon recycling facility, the department said in a release. Eagle Silicon plans to install two gas-filtration baghouses and additional hydrofluoric acid systems, the permit application says.

Requests for a 30-day public comment period and questions about the process should be directed to Faye Weber, Idaho Department of Environmental Quality State Office, 1410 N. Hilton St., Boise, Idaho 83706. She can be reached at 373-0440 or faye.weber@deq.idaho.gov.
