  • Three Idaho workers received a patent in HP’s printing division. John Moffatt and Ryan Jamison, both of Boise, and Eugene Castro of Meridian developed an improved troubleshooting system for the operation and troubleshooting in a printing device.
A US Patent was issued on March 11 and assigned to Hewlett-Packard Development Co. L P, Houston.
  • The Equipment Leasing and Finance Association’s monthly index reports economic activity for the $600 billion equipment finance sector showed overall new business volume for February increased 3.9 percent when compared to February 2007. Several Idaho businesses and/or a parent company participate in this monthly survey.
